The Process
01 - Conversation
Each piece begins through discussion around idea, references, materials and artistic direction.
02 - Design & Development
Concepts evolve through sketching, shaping and material exploration, with every work approached as an original artwork rather than a repeatable product.
03 - Handcrafted Production
Every board is individually shaped, painted and finished by hand by Alex Hunt, embracing texture, imperfection and individuality throughout the process
04 - Authentication
Completed works are signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity documenting the piece as an original work.
Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all commissioned works and commence the design and production process.
The remaining balance along with shipping costs, is payable upon completion prior to delivery.
Natural Variations
Each work is individually handcrafted and may contain natural variations, textures and imperfections inherent to the handmade process and the unique character of timber.
Great care is taken in selecting and working with high-quality materials, however no two pieces of wood are ever identical. These variations form part of the authenticity and individuality of each work.
Return Policy
Due to the original and custom nature of commissioned works, all commission payments are final and non-refundable once production has commenced.
Each piece is individually handcrafted as a one-off artwork developed specifically for the client.
Progress updates and concept direction are provided throughout the process to ensure alignment before final completion.
Timeframes
Every work is developed through a slow and highly hands-on process of shaping, drawings/panting and finishing by hand.
Timeframes may vary depending on the scale, complexity and finish of each piece.
A limited number of commissions are accepted at any one time to maintain the quality and integrity of the process.
Typically, allow at least 3-4 weeks.
Limitations
Each commissioned work is developed collaboratively and can be shaped around specific ideas, references, themes, colours or artistic direction.
While creative freedome is encouraged, requests involving copyright material, trademarks or direct reproduction of existing artworks may be limited or unable to be produced.
The goal is always to create an original work that feels personal, authentic and unique to the commission itself.
Are the boards ridable?
Yes - every piece is built as a functional skateboard designed to be both ridden and displayed.
Backed by more than 11 years as a handcrafted skateboarding brand prior to evolving into a studio, functionality and craftsmanship remain central to every work created.
While many collectors choose to preserve or display their pieces, each board is still built with skateboard at its core.
International Shipping
Works can be shipped worldwide.
Shipping costs and timing vary depending on location.
